House Season 8 Promo

Though Lisa Edelstein may not be returning as Dr. Cuddy for the eighth and presumably final season of House M.D., it looks like the consequences of the epic end of her relationship with Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) will be in full force. Fox has just released a new promo for the coming season, and it looks like House will be taking some serious punishment from the law and from those who have broken it. And I don’t want to spoil it, but that tagline for the season premiere is pretty damn good. You’ll see what I mean after you check out this short but sweet promo after the jump.

Fox cancelled Human Target and Lie to Me

I was disappointed when I learned that two of my favorite shows on Fox Human Target and Lie to Me was cancelled. Although I was not surprise of Lie to Me getting cancelled as the storyline has been "murky" for me. On the other hand Human Target has a rising fanbase only to be cancelled by the people on Fox network due to budget constraints.

Game of Thrones: Another interesting Medieval TV series

As if I had enough watching medieval shows like Spartacus: Blood and Sands, another medieval themed series has just premiere on HBO entitled Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones is an American medieval fantasy television series created by David Benioff and Dan Weiss for HBO. The series, based on author George R. R. Martin's best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels, chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among noble families for control of the Iron Throne of Westeros. - source: wikipedia.

The series cast includes notable actors like Sean Bean (notable for his role as Boromir on the Lord of the Rings trilogy series) and Lena Headey (notable for her role as the Queen of Sparta in critically acclaimed movie "300").

Relic Hunting: Watching all Relic Hunter episodes

I have been a fan of Tia Carrere since her breakthrough movies Wayne's World, Showdown in Little Tokyo and True lies but her portrayal of archaeologist Sydney Fox in the TV series Relic Hunter has made me appreciate her more. It's unfortunate that the series on lasted for only three season (66 episodes all in all) but the performance was great as this series was basically a amalgamation of Indiana Jones and Lara Croft.

I thank the internet that I was able to download all 66 episode via P2P (yeah I know it's bad to do P2P but it's hard to find the DVD for this show) and gradually watch the episodes to my delight.

GetGlue gets me addicted to more TV shows

Because of my frequent visitation on the newest social network site GetGlue.com. I have discovered some of the new and interest TV series for which "forced" me to widen my list TV shows. The newest shows that I have added on my personal watch list are

White Collar - It's about a Con-Man helping out the FBI solve other "white collar" crimes.
Being Human US - it's about the lives of three unorthodox friends: a vampire, a wolf and a ghost living in one house.
Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior - a spin-off the main show Criminal Minds which stars Forrest Whitaker

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and Spartacus: Blood and Sands : Gods of the Arena is the prequel to the main series Blood and Sands. The series is inspired by the historical figure of Spartacus , a Thracian gladiator who from 73 to 71 BC led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic. What made this show interesting to me is that it has Lucy Lawless as one of the regular cast to which I'm a big fan since her Xena: Warrior Princess days.

Catching Up with Supernatural

Watching Supernatural was not my thing during the first several seasons of the show because of my obsessions to all the police drama series like the CSI's, NCIS's etc. Aside from House M.D. and have not followed some new TV show until recently when I added Lie to me, The Big Bang Theory, Nikita and Supernatural.

On the case of Supernatural, I just finished thirteen episodes of first season and still gonna watch the succeeding seasons and episodes as the story has become very interesting. I was disappointed on some of the episodes and some did made my laugh because of the brother "wackiness" despite the show's serious nature. As of this writing, I am still watching the succeeding episodes as to understand the more the story of the Winchester sibling in their search for their father who is in personal mission of revenge against the one responsible for the death of his wife and the boy's mother.
